Welcome To Mercurio Gallery
602 Courtney Street Victoria BC CA V8W 1B6 250.388.5158 - mercuriogallery@gmail.com
Mercurio, one of Victoria's most unique art galleries, is located on
Courtney Street just off Government. We're one block north of the
Empress Hotel and the Inner Harbour, in the heart of Victoria's Old
Town. We offer paintings and prints, sculpture, jewellery, fine
contemporary and vintage ceramics, and a fine selection of Inuit art.
Victoria is a city uniquely situated on the cusp of the old British
Commonwealth and the modern Pacific Rim; a place where the
traditions of European, Asian, Aboriginal, and West Coast Modern art
intersect, and art treasures from all these sources have accumulated
in close proximity.
Mercurio Gallery specializes in presenting the work of the Limners
Group, among them Myfanwy Pavelic, Pat Martin Bates, Herbert
Siebner, and Max Bates; also their contemporaries, such as Jack Wise, Flemming Jorgenson, and Jack Shadbolt.
We also present the work of regional artists Ken Faulks, Linny D. Vine, Gordon Hutchens, Tobias Tomlinson, Phyllis Serota, and many more. Please examine our Artists page for a more complete list.
Mercurio is constantly adding to the gallery house collection. If you wish to sell, trade or consign work
by those on our list, or work from any other regionally significant artist, we'd be interested in hearing
from you. Please contact owner Kym Hill regarding acquisitions.
